HPC helps people with developmental disabilities stay safe, healthy, and independent at home and in the community. Our trained Direct Support Professionals in Toledo and Lucas County shape support around each person's daily routine and goals.

How to get started

- Talk through needs. We learn what support is needed and what the person wants.
- Coordinate with your team. We confirm authorization with your SSA, county board, or case manager.
- Start services. We match the right staff and schedule a start date.

Homemaker Personal Care (HPC): quick answers
Who pays for HPC services?
HPC is typically funded through Ohio DODD waivers when it is part of the person's service plan, not billed directly to families. Your SSA or county Board of DD can confirm what is authorized.
Can we switch our HPC provider to Aston Global?
Yes. You have the right to choose your provider. We coordinate with your SSA and current team to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Do your staff provide transportation?
Yes. HPC transportation tied to authorized services is provided by the same staff who already know the person and their routine, and we also offer Non-Medical Transportation for authorized needs.
How soon can HPC start?
We respond to every request within one business day. Start dates depend on authorization, the service plan, and matching the right staff. Call us for current availability.
